Danielle is an avid Literacy advocate residing in Norman, Oklahoma. She has been in education for close to 30 years. She began her teaching career in Waterloo, Iowa where she taught in a Title One district serving our most underestimated students. After leaving Iowa and heading to Oklahoma in 2010, she has had the opportunity to grow professionally in providing teachers, administrators, and educators in general with the knowledge and resources to provide students with the gift of literacy.

​From working as the Elementary ELA Coordinator for Oklahoma City Public Schools to holding the position of Director of Elementary ELA at the Oklahoma State Department of Education and currently as an educational consultant with 95 Percent Group, she has had the chance to have an impact on student reading instruction throughout the nation by ensuring educators are equipped to provide systematic, explicit reading instruction to each student that enters their sphere of influence.
