George Donald Jacobson III  or simply Don to his friends and colleagues is a seasoned expert in the manufacturing sector, boasting over 20 years of experience in building and leading businesses. ​His expertise is particularly evident through his current role as President of the Spring Manufacturers Institute (SMI), where he has been instrumental since 2017 in supporting and educating North American precision spring manufacturers.
