I am a dedicated and detail-oriented Infection Prevention leader with proven skills in establishing and implementing effective policies and procedures to minimize infection risks. I have experience in training, mentoring, and monitoring healthcare staff to improve knowledge, reduce infection risk, and improve patient outcomes. I am a subject matter expert in acute and chronic hemodialysis settings and also have in-depth knowledge of high-level disinfection and sterilization practices. Currently, I am the President of my local chapter with the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) where I strive to inspire growth, provide support, and bring joy to our work.
