Kalyn has spent over 15 years with a career in healthcare. Starting as a bedside nurse, she found purpose in supporting people in what are often their most vulnerable moments. Now she helps champion the changes needed in that industry to support those most disadvantaged.

​A lifelong lover of team sports, she fully believes that any great change comes from a collection of different people’s skills and abilities. Aligning her personal values with the work roles she fills has allowed her to show up with joy in both her work and her life as a wife and mother. 

Committed to keeping the balance of being a master in some areas but always a student in others, she looks forward to mentoring and supporting women who find purpose in their career life. She feels the University of Oklahoma’s Women in Leadership program is a wonderful support network for growth and personal development to occur.
