Director of Children's Choirs and Modern Worship

McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church

Kayley Williamson is the Director of the Children’s Choir and Modern Worship at McFarlin United Methodist Church in Norman, OK. A certified PK-12 Vocal/General Music educator, she previously taught elementary school music in public schools for six years before transitioning to online education at Laurel Spring Private School in 2019. This allowed her to teach high school Music Theory and Music History courses remotely, enabling her to balance her career with her growing family.

​Kayley studied Vocal Music Education at the University of Oklahoma, spent a semester abroad studying music education in Reading, England, holds a master's degree in education from OU, and anticipates completing her Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction in May 2026 When not engaged in her career or academic pursuits, she loves participating in two church handbell choirs, singing professionally around the world with The Zielinski Singers, and spending time with her college sweetheart, John, and their three contagiously joyful daughters.
