Public Affairs and Communications ManagerGeorgia-Pacific LLCKristen Turley, APR is a seasoned Public Affairs and Communications professional with over two decades of experience in strategic communication, employee engagement, and community relations. Currently serving as the Public Affairs and Communications Manager at Georgia-Pacific's Muskogee Mill, Kristen is responsible for shaping the local and regional reputation of the company as a trusted community partner and employer. She leads communication initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement and strengthening ties with local stakeholders.
Prior to Georgia-Pacific, Kristen spent over a decade at Magellan Midstream Partners, where she led internal and external communications, supported cross-functional teams in Investor Relations and Government Affairs, and managed crisis communications and community relations initiatives. Throughout her career, Kristen has held various leadership positions within the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), including serving as Tulsa Chapter President and Southwest District Chair. Her involvement extends to the Communications Committee of the Liquid Energy Pipeline Association and six years on the board for Susan G. Komen Tulsa, where she provided strategic counsel on public relations and health initiatives. A graduate of Syracuse University with an MBA in Marketing and a BA in Journalism from the University of Northwestern – St. Paul, Kristen is also an alum of Leadership Tulsa, Class 35 and Leadership Muskogee, Class 31. Her expertise spans communication strategy, employee engagement, crisis management and community outreach. |
