Founder

Driven Leadership Solutions

After retiring from the United States Navy following 20 years as a Naval Aviator, Matt transitioned into the business world, taking on multiple leadership roles. He worked as a management consultant for i3 Consulting while also founding Driven Leadership Solutions, a training company specializing in project management and PMI certification preparation. In 2023, he expanded his business portfolio by opening a Hammer & Nails men’s grooming shop and is actively exploring additional locations.

Education has always been a priority in Matt’s career. He earned a BS in Chemistry from the University of Oklahoma in 2000, followed by a Master’s in Information Technology from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2009. To further solidify his expertise in business, he completed an MBA from the Jack Welch Management Institute. Currently, he is in the final stages of his Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at Florida International University, with his dissertation defense scheduled for May 2025 and graduation in August.

With a passion for leadership, business strategy, and education, Matt continues to balance entrepreneurship, consulting, and academic pursuits, always looking for the next challenge.
